Here's a proposal that we can all embrace!

Coburn is proposing and amendment to the recent super-porky Transportion Bill to redirect funding to Louisiana from that stupid $220 million "Bridge to Nowhere" in Alaska.  Yeah, that one that connects to Gravina Island (pop. 50).

Here's the dear colleague letter.

Interestingly, this conservative blog says its the Republicans that are a-scared of this idea and they are the ones that might try to block it.  Go figure.

If you want to give your two cents, you could write Inhofe and Sully.
