Lighting set at Whittier Square

Lights On in Whittier Square event set for 5:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10.

Neighborhood organizations and businesses join with McGraw to make this holiday event special.

Crowds gather for free foods such as tamales and fruit, and music and stage performances including the Kendall Whittier Elementary drumming group. Light On in Whittier Square will have crafts and games with prizes and a visit from Santa who will bring gifts for the children.

A highlight of the evening is the countdown to the lights, as the library and Whittier parking area begin to sparkle.
