Good day all!
I spent most of yesterday reading just about all the links in this forum.
I will be moving to Tulsa in 3 mos and like some - want before they give - as in information about the community. After I get settled there in Tulsa and become more aware of the goings on in the community - ie: put a live picture to some of the places that I have only read about and seen pictures of around town and viewed .pdf files of the I44 corridor, and the changes that it will affect in the areas around Harvard and Lewis Aves. I can contribute more to this community than my current stance as an outsider.

I am looking at these apartment complexes in the Tulsa area and would like some more information about these areas of Tulsa. I have gotten as much information about the apartment communities themselves, what I am looking for is like crime rate and the community in general - younger, older, family oriented type of communities around the complex. One can only see so much on Google Earth, mapquest.com and these forums. By the way did I mention I was in the technical field. I understand the old addage - Crime has no address
Apartments as follows:
1. Yacht Club - 5051 S Toledo Ave 74135
2. Foxfire Apts - 7324 S Wheeling Ave - 74136
3. Red River Apts - 1502 East 71st Street 74136
4. Observation Point Apts - 4104 S 130th E Ave - 74134
5. Shoreline Apts - 9601 E 21st Place - 74129
6. Braden Creek Apts - 4801 S Braden Ave - 74135
7. Falls @ Shadow Mtn Apts - 6000 S Memorial Dr & E 61st St S - 74145

I have some input about the I 44 corridor changes and heres my .02 cents. Change is bound to happen, good and bad change! Sure some businesses will be lost and also some will be gained after the renovation of this corridor. Unlike here in Charlotte, NC we are building a light rail system from the SouthCarolina / North Carolina border through the west side of Charlotte and on into the downtown area. This is great, but like Tulsa - Charlotte is a car town! I am sure it will have some success and I wish the city all the best in regards to light rail but I don't think it would work in the ways that the city expects.

Enough about Charlotte, after looking at the .pdf file of the corridor I think that it will be a good thing from what I see on paper. Again when it's completed we will see if it's cracked up to the hype that the city is giving it.

Thanks
Greg
