Good Friday and Easter are both very special to me in more ways than the awesome events they celebrate.

On Good Friday in 1975 (March 28th), I was filled with God's Spirit in the same way the apostles were on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2:1-4, with the same incredible experience and fulfillment as Jesus had promised when He said, "You don't know where the wind is coming from or going, but you will hear the sound thereof. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."

Then two days later on Easter Sunday, I was baptized in the precious name of Jesus Christ for the remission of my sins, just like the apostle Peter commanded His generation in Acts 2:38.

So this weekend is very precious to me in more ways than the awesome celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Who is God manifested in flesh. I found Calvary on that day in 1975; and I found that the resurrection was not only the cornerstone of Christianity, but that the Lord Jesus Christ would indeed put that same Spirit into anyone who would seek Him with all their heart.

Best wishes to each and everyone of you this weekend. May God fulfill His perfect will and bring abundant peace and joy into your lives. Happy Easter to Tulsa.
