I noticed this reader opinion in the TulsaWorld today. At first I thought Paul Tay might be the author (the logic is certainly chaotic enough)until I saw the name.

I never met a road (or bridge) I didn't like. But wouldn't it be cheaper to build emergency services on the other side of the river than to build a bridge? Emergency service access wouldn't even be the icing on the cake of reasons to build a bridge. It's the shine on the glaze on the cherry on the icing and certainly no primary reason to build a bridge.

And on another subject, we must keep separate the argument about global warming per se and what percentage (and it's teensy weensy) of that warming people are responsible for.
