The Channels plan deserves hearing
These guys don't really get it, do they?

1.  Everybody is happy that they are having hearings, except for maybe Mr. Warren, who reported in the World two weeks ago that the "...framework for the plan is not open for change".

2.  Its a bold, $400,000 idea, too bold apparently, to contemplate alternatives.  Nobody is discounting their effort, but it was developed without any guidance from the shareholders.  If, now that hearings are proposed, it costs more to modify that plan into something worth supporting, then, maybe the city should step in.  $400k is not a lot of money, an extra $400K is still not a lot of money.  Not when compared to $600 million.
