CONTRIBUTION CHALLENGE

As many of you know, the County Party is in need of contributions. We have $41.16 in the account currently. Steve, Liz, and I thank all of you who have contributed. We are current on everything but the rent-we were three months behind. (Thank you, Tulsa Classroom Teachers for your patience.) James Ward and Rae Weese contributed from their campaign funds; Heart of Party gave us a contribution; I contributed $325.00 for 1/2 a month's rent; so, we paid one month's rent. The rent is $650.00 a month; 1/2 is $325.00; and 1/4 is $162.50; 1/8 is $81.25; 1/16 is $40.63; and 1/32 is $20.31. I challenge each of you to contribute a fraction of a month's rent. I will contribute another 1/2 month's rent, if we have contributions that add up to two month's rent.

Teehee.

So many questions on their resolutions (if you want to keep Congress from spending MY retirement money then dont take it in the first place, damnit), but I agree with at least 50% of them.

For all of you that think Im a right wing nut job, I actually did a good bit of volunteering for a Democratic candidate in September-November because I believe in most of his platform and felt he could (and he did) discuss/defend/reason his position on the rest.  So there ya' go.

Porky

A friend of mind was promoting those concerts at Tulsa Little Theatre to raise money for the Democratic Party here in town and few people came. It was a real shame because the shows were really good and it could of helped the Democrats with their funding as well.
Hope you have better luck getting money from them Double A.

Actually, the first concert did really well.
