Comparing rallies like this to Nazi gatherings is ludicrous.  Citizens demanding equal enforcement of all laws and staging a peaceful demonstration of that is justifiable.

BTW- Nazi swastika arm bands were red with a white circle.  But that's half-baked Swake for you.

Nonsense.  The glaring difference between the two being that those who were killed by illegal aliens could have been 100% prevented with competent border security.

If we're going to go to the route of the problem like that I say there should be mandatory vision tests every time you renew your license. Especially if you are over 50.

I also don't buy that just because they are illegal has anything to do with them causing wrecks. Has there been a study done that shows that correlation? I would bet that legal aliens are just as likely to kill someone in a wreck. If so it sounds like you're saying you can predict what someone is going to do before they do it.

We don't have too much of an immigration problem with Canada.  First, Canadians have little rerason to immigrate to America.  And those that do don't march through the streets demanding that all of us speak french and abandon our own heritage.  MEXICANS DO EXACTLY THAT.

Don't forget - they are illegal aliens and by definition are criminals.

As far as the terrorists are concern, yesy they do, can and have come in through the Mexican border.  There is documentation of AlQueda (sp) material that teach how to come to the US by using the Mexican border.  Why?  Because there is, like it or not, a physical resemblance between hispanics and middle-eastern citizens.

Sorry, but if I recall correctly, the only terrorists that have ever been caught having entered the US illegally came across the Candadian border near Vancouver.

Made it to the rally around half past noon and it was going pretty strong. It was a lot better than last year. Much more civil(owing primarily to the fact that there were about a quarter of the pro-illegals as last year).

When I arrived, there was an antagonist among on our side, calling us impolite names and generally making a spectacle, but Gilchrist and a few of the calmer heads got the crowd's focus back on the street.

Not much more to say until next year, but I hope everyone will call governor Henry's office and voice your support for the immigration reform bill!
