What is YourNews?

YourNews is an online news aggregator of information, news and content. The website has the look and feel of any newspaper website with content and advertising inventory of over 15,000 different local editions.  The general public submits all the local content which drives the local readership which is then supported by local advertising.   Your News puts control of the media in the "Hands Of The People". It's the ultimate blog.

The YourNews Mission

To place the power of the press in the hands of the people creating a
level information playing field, which will provide an equal and significant voice for all.

How to Use YourNews?

It's easy; log on to www.YourNews.com and type in your zip code. Your local edition will appear. Chose the section of the paper, IE. Sports, Business, you are interested in reading and click it. These sections are located on the left hand column of YourNews.

If you want to read a different edition of YourNews other then your local edition, go to the front page of your local edition. At the top bar, click the button that says; "Switch Editions", enter the zip code or type in the name of the city you want to visit.

If you have news you would like published click the section and sub section that's relevant to your article.  Ex:  "Activities & Events"/"Special Events".  Click the submit news button in the top left hand corner and copy and paste your article into the lower box.  Put in your story title and tag line.  If you have a picture click the browse button and find the image you want and click on it.  Run it for the number of days you would like your article published for.  Then click the "Submit News" button at the bottom of the page.  Your article will go live shortly.
