Everything now is quite clear as the intellectuals within Gods Little Acres, enclosed by the expressways, with locked Golden Gates inset in pearl, with the golden keys thereof, has taken a brief moment for explanations to the hoards outside the gate, who sought a moment of your time in order to understand the criteria of which we are bound, whereas "Dust thou art to dust returnth was not spoken of the soul"; still in Tulsa where flowth the river from the garden of sand; where Peter has not been given a key to the gates that are lit in the such a brilliant light of knowledge; still we all have much compassion for the keepers of this knowledge. Seriously Shadows, you think you are being some clever intellectual but really you just aren't making sense.  I'm not trying to be malicious or coy.  No one understands what you are talking about, and its not because your level of brilliance far surpasses everyone else's.

Just write a normal sentence.  I think you put great thought into your posts, so its a shame that they are incomprehensible.  Try writing them like you want people to be able to read them, instead of trying to write to impress yourself.

CP: Being one outside of the gates at Gods Little Acreage I just felt compelled to show the appreciation I and the other thousands outside the gates have for such brilliant intellectuals.

I considered it as only the rambling that I am always accused of.

Is city name Tulsa, BOK, or QT

The arena under construction is presented as the BOK arena.  This arena is Tulsa's Arena, being paid for the patrons of Tulsa county and it should be known as Tulsa's Arena.  If BOK wants an arena let them build one and shoulder the entire load.

The Expo Building that was paid for the same way, is being refereed as QT Expo Building at the fair grounds.   This is an insult to the working people who have had to sacrifice the thing they needed, to build a monument to these corporate entities.

Shadows, where have you been? This sort of corporate sponsorship has been going on across the US for decades.  Even famous places such as Wrigley Field are named after corporate entities.  The fact that BOk and QuikTrip are paying for naming rights for these venues is a good thing for Tulsa.  When corporations pay for venue naming rights, it means they see value in the venue, and want to be associated with it in the mind of their customers.  Local corporations investing in local venues is a good thing for both parties involved.

This may be true but if it is valuable to these corporations lets sell the naming rights of the city to a corporation.

It seems that no one wants to be proud of what the citizens of Tulsa built with their tax money.

BOK,OK?    QT,OK?

Regardless how newcomers and  YP's feel in changing a republic to  corporate America, there is some silent natives that object to sell to corporate America the right to impose a name on a building that degrades it to a overpriced sign board paid for the by the pennies they pay in taxes  on their food.

Just because other cities want to degrade their building there is no reason we should follow suite.  Instead of being at the bottom of the list of "they do" we could stand out as an independent city.

From the past many of the industries leaving have post "formally from Tulsa" and do not post "from the city with the BOK arena".

Names are given a birth.  One should be proud of the name they have been given.  The BOK arena has a less namesake than just the Tulsa arena or the QT expo building.

Want to know why there is such apathy among voters that will not vote?   They feel the city is corporate controlled.
