Let's not get started on places like Toys R Us who asks you for your phone number just to make a purchase. I just tell her/him to put their number in or the store's.

Another option is just give them a fake number alot of times it's more easy than telling them to use the store's number. I use phone numbers like 123-4567 or 555-1234

If they're young enough, you can use 867-5309.

Btw, most of Best Buy's employees are under the age of 25 for good reason. Starting pay of 7.55/hour, non-commission, just doesn't cut it for most people.

I figure it's a lot like their rebates used to be. You have to climb them like a ladder to get anything out of them.

You would not believe what I had to do to get what I paid for from Circuit City Advantage Plan.

It's all a gimmik to take your money or entice you back to their store.
