Democrat causes car crash, causes injuries all because he wanted his jollies and hit the sauce.

See, there are idiots on both sides.

Craigs a creepy hypocrite

My problem is that this Larry Craig guy was one of the people against gay marriage and gays in the military. Until yesterday, if you went to mitt Romney's web site, Craig greeted you on video and talked about Mitts morality, and intelligence separating him from the rest..

Also, now Craig says he really wasn't guilty and shouldn't have pled guilty but he wanted to keep it quiet so he never got a lawyer...he is claiming now that he was too dumb about our legal system to get out of trouble-even though he's a senator! give me a ****ing break.

This is more proof that republican voters are mostly just stupid people with poor judgment. They here a candidate spit out fear of "them"-with us or against us..or they hear "tax cuts" or they hear "Jesus, abortion, gays"-and they vote for whatever idiot is feeding them the talking points of the religious right and the bigoted. they are not smart decision makers-and we have seen the terrible results for our nation.

This happens because philosophically the states' rights over federal control arguments has been consistently on the losing side of historical fact on major issues spanning generations(new deal, social security, civil rights, Katrina, environmental laws, for example)

This phenomena of poor decision making based on voting for vapid concepts (like gay bashing) (But god they love em' when they are in the next stall over) over real issues (like global warming) has led to people like bush/Cheney, Larry Craig, tom delay, duke Cunningham and the rest.

Had the republican voters in Idaho respected their country more, done some more research and looked up the actual resumes and political policy philosophies of the guys Larry Craig ran against, they clearly would not have had Larry Craig from Idaho as a senator-but, Larry Craig came to his election campaign trumping "family values" and his faith in "Jesus"...

WAKE UP!!!! the Jesus as the son of god story is 2000 year old made up fiction to explain what we don't know. We need candidates who make decisions based on facts not faith.
Bush had faith Iraq had WMD, not facts--how's that working out for all of us??

Wait, so which one was more harmful?

A guy trying (and failing) to find a partner for gay sex?

Or the drunk driver who caused a multi-car collision?

Can you go through that for me again?

aoxamaxoa

Yes, the drunk needs help. The hypocrite needs removal. This is politics. We all know of our congressman's issue but we may still support him and pray for his continued recovery.

Mr. Craig can't recover from his remarks.....and I can't pray for his ilk....

Would it change your opinion any if our good friend Jeff was a champion of MADD and introduced legislation trying to curb the evils of drunk driving?

Apparently drunk driving is a real problem with youth, but its ok for him to do it.  What's that smell?  Hypocrisy!

There's plenty to go around on all sides of the aisle at all levels of government.

Whoops!  That's a major hypocrital error.

Difference between Craig and Rabon is Rabon very easily could have killed someone.

Craig was tapping his foot.  Rabon was mashing the accelerator.

Sry Guido.  I was just trying to convince him that the whole thing could be simplified to one general statement:  politician bad.
