Poor Thinkpad, that's one of my faves from the Spam collection.

I think I'd vote for Borat Obama...but Borack?

Ibanez

Who in their right mind would want an Obama, or any politician for that matter, ringtone?

tim huntzinger

Really, W? You really see no value in that for a candidate's supporters? Huh.

Whenever the Obama ringtone goes off people turn their heads and listen.  It serves as a premise for discussing his campaign and to show support. I can imagine at HQ's all around the nation they are big time must-haves.

This is using new media in a new and exciting way, plus, it gives the campaign phone numbers and IP addresses.

BO is moving up. Catch a fire! Anything w/b better than New Yawkers running the country.
We need something totally new and different who will appoint great minds instead of cronies.
The country senses taking the risk.
Momentum seems to be shifting for the good!

Something tells me you and your cronies dumped a load of money into his campaign.

Take off the rose-colored glasses, there isn't one candidate running who won't stock his/her cabinet with cronies and large supporters.

Yes. But BO won't stink it up like the neo cons.
The cronies he puts in charge will be the best and the brightest. Maybe he'll put Kaiser in charge of Dept. Of Education.....or to help in the war on poverty.

If we are talking politicians, they will manage to stink it up regardless who it is.

And what post are you gunning for?  Grateful Dead Archivist?

I'm the first to admit not being the best nor the brightest.

Have the feds a position for archivists? Maybe at the Smithsonian.

No schnitzengruber!  I would have never figured that out on my own.

I heard somewhere there was a dude from Tulsa who has a photo credit or two on a Dead album, I think from one of their shows in Boston around '73 or so.  Might even be an Obama supporter by now.  No way he would grow up to become a neo-con.
