I thought this article would be useful for people who received gift cards over the holiday season to stores they might not shop at or not in their area.  You can buy, sell, trade your gift cards for different ones. This is apparently becoming a commong trend.

Sorry if Offtopic, but I thought it would be useful for some of us out there!

I didn't even know that Oakley gift certificates existed.... Guess I have never been in the market for one...

I have $34 gift card to Target that I'll never use.  Does Target not ever have any deals?

RecycleMichael

I got one day left on my entertainment book coupons and will throw in some Chuckie Cheese tokens for a good trade.

if you buy many tv series on DVD they have pretty good deals every week.  I picked up Boston Legal season 3 for 19.99.  I couldn't find it under 37.99 since it came out.  You can also find pretty good deals on their home decor stuff, but thats about it. They are overpriced on alot of their goods.

I am not a big fan of Target either, but my fiancee loves to shop there. She is from California so she is used to Targets and not Walmart. THey don't have many of them out there.

they are almost always more expensive than wal-mart.  Sorry but I don't have a hang up that I go to Target just to spite wal-mart.

neither do I.  In fact, I NEVER went into Target until we started dating.  Wal-mart definitely has cheaper prices on everyday items like toilet paper, toothpaste, shampoo, food, detergent, etc. But I will say Targets home decor stuff is much nicer.

Go to Aldi's for basics.  They beat everyone usually and the atmosphere is much better than either target or walmart.  Sorry, but having uniformed security at a retail store (Target) is disturbing.

HAHA.  We laugh a little inside every time we see him standing at the door when we walk in.  Aldi is an interesting store, however I find it very annoying that I must pay a deposit for a shopping cart (which I know you get back when you return it, its just the principle of the matter) and also you either have to bring your own bags or pay for them.  Whatever floats their boat though, I guess the Germans like that sorta thing!! (as do many people in town)
