First I must say I'm not a native but from China. My english is not very satisfied. And I don't know much about this city which lead to my questions:

On internet I could only find these local newspapers in Tulsa: Tulsa Today, Tulsa World, Tulsa bussiness. Where can I find the introductions of these newspapers or the diffierence between them?
Or...Can anybody tell me another better local newspaper that reflact the situation of this city?

and... Posting the topic here is suitable?

catccaatt

o, i see: the Tulsa World is the second-most widely circulated newspaper. So what's the first ?

ps:
Sigh: Tomorrow I have to hand in a ten-page writing about the Tulsa and it's newspaper....
and NOW once I saw english word I'll feel asleep. The time here is 23:30, I have to stay up late today....

The Tulsa World is the major daily newspaper in Tulsa.  It is what one would expect to find of any newspaper in a US city.  About 80% of it is from newswire services and is essentially the stories from the AP or Reuters.  The other 20% is local content on business transactions, development, sports, local politics or other items of regional interest written and researched by the World Staff.

The Tulsa World would be considered a regional newspaper.  It is not circulated outside of a 200 mile radius of Tulsa.  The Daily Oklahoman is published in Oklahoma City (State capital) and is available statewide (including in Tulsa),  The Daily Oklahoman is the main newspaper in Oklahoma City but is a minority to the Tulsa World in this area.  National newspapers including USA Today, the Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times are widely available nationwide (including in Tulsa).

Tulsa used to have a second daily paper but it went out of business some years ago.

The Urban Tulsa is a weekly paper that is geared more towards the younger crowd (16-30 years old probably).

Tulsa Business Journal is just news that effects the business world.  Real estate deals, hiring and firing, new companies forming, new services offered, etc.  If it does not directly effect the Tulsa Business community, it will not be in there.  I think it is published Weekly and is of relatively small circulation.

Hope this helps with your paper.  Best of luck.

Welcome.

It's a given that many opinions are posted here.

Opinions are opinions.  Facts are facts.

The third sentence of Preserve Midtown's home page states that developers are building houses right up to the curb.  Are there, in fact, houses built right up to the curb in Midtown?  If so, where are the houses?

In your opinion, what is meant by the term "right up to the curb" ?

My views are the same as most people.

A lot of people just agree with me, especially when they have been drinking.
