Tulsa:  63
Bowling Green: 7

* The most lopsided victory in the history of Bowl games (and that's with slowing it down in the 4th QT, less than half our average offense).
* Tulsa QB Paul Smith joined the 5,000 club (7 members with over 5K yards on a season)
Smith holds the NCAA record for most consecutive * 300 yard games (previously Ty Detmer - 1990.  Now at 14 games - or every game this season)
* Only team in NCAA history to have a 5000 yard passer, 3 - 1,000 yard receivers, and a 1,000 yard rusher.
* 10 win season for Tulsa

Not bad for a first year coach.  Oh, and on ESPN's wrap-up we had what will probably be the best hit of the college football year:

Go Tulsa!  Golden...

What a game!

I said before the season started that Paul Smith was the best quarterback in the state.

Let's hope he gets a chance to show it on Sundays next fall.
Power is nothing till you use it.

this is great for the university of Tulsa.  National attention, this will definitely help recruiting.  Congrats TU.
