Everyone here knows I'm a big SNL fan. I've heard that one of the performers on the show, one Bill Hader, is from Tulsa, is a graduate of Cascia Hall, a Second City alunus, and is making it big in Hollywood. Any truth to this?

No idea.  What year did he supposedly graduate from CH?

Holland Hall can boast of Tim Blake Nelson and Heather Langenkamp as Tulsans who have made it fairly well in Hollywood.  Moreso Tim than Heather.

This is true.  He was great in Superbad too.

I would suspect he'd graduated from there sometime in the 1990's.

He's actually quite versatile in his impressions of various celebs: he does a killer Al Pacino impression, as well as Vincent Price and Peter O'Toole, among others. I'd say in terms of impressions, he'd be rivaled only by the late Phil Hartman or current castmate Darrell Hammond. His original characters are outstanding too.

Bill Hader is AWESOME. I think he is definitely on the way to becoming a huge star, especially after the success of "Superbad."

Superbad was a good film as was Hot Rod and You Me and Dupree (although he had a very small role). Like those before him, i think he will definitely carve out a legacy at SNL for others to live up to.

With his success, and those of others from the Tulsa area, it leads me to believe that there is plenty of untapped talent here. Give them a shot at the big time, and watch them shine!

Judging by the way he drove the police car in Superbad, he definitely learned how to drive in T-town.

Hmmph..  I saw him on the Letterman show a little while back (may have been Leno) and he described Tulsa as a place where you could watch your dog run away for 3 days.  Implying a flat prairie-like landscape.  I remember thinking "huh, what part of Tulsa are YOU from?"

Interesting, looks like most his success has come since 2004.

I also understand that his family is rather socially prominent in the Tulsa area.
