Does anyone else use the new version of Yahoo mail with the annoying ad pane on the right side of the email in/out box?

The Netflix ad with the corpse looking guys is getting old.  It's one of those ads that makes me want to never do business with them.  Yeah, I get they are made up decaying corpses not real zombies, but it's old, annoying, and well- gross.

Yahoo Mail isnt that bad...
However, I was going to admonish him more for seeing ads on the net.

Yeah I know I'm a troglodyte.  I've had my personal email address for years, I guess I'm just comfortable with it and there are slightly similar features in the new Yahoo mail to Outlook.  I'm too cheap to pay up for ad-free email.

I think Yahoo mail is very good..
especially if you remove those annoying ads.

If you use firefox install the GreaseMonkey plugin.
then use this GreaseMonkey script
tada, no more ad panes

Unfortunately, my computer didn't seem to like Firefox, maybe I need to re-think that.  IE7 has greatly under-whelmed me and it's slower than IE6.

In case you haven't figured out, I use a computer a lot but I'm not much of a geek, well at least not about computers.[;)]

Gmail is better IMHO. Plus no "premium" version that wants your money.

Ad Muncheris great at removing ads when you need to switch between 2 or 3 web browsers and have ads gone in all of them with no fuss.

Gmail all the way...everything works, all the time.

You should give it a try.

I still have my yahoo email, I just use Gmail to check all my email address (I have 5).  So I have only one inbox with all me emails from way back.  Pretty nice.  I also love the docs feature.  I love being able to back up my docs on google's tab.  :)

Best of luck.
