we vs us

Little Miss Understood needs a home badly. A sweet little thing, we found her wagging at random guests in our hotel parking lot.  She was looking for someone, obviously, but she didn't have a collar and she wasn't chipped.  Thinking she belonged to one of the apartments behind the hotel, we walked her over and shooed her onto one of the properties.  About an hour later she was back in our parking lot looking for a family.

She can't be more than a year old, but is in excellent shape, and belonged to someone fairly recently.  She has her puppy coat still, teeth without tartar, and has been neutered. She is very familiar with people and children, and very submissive.  We don't know what to do with her, though . . . she'll have to go to the pound and soon if we don't find a home for her. We've called all the usual animal rescue groups to no avail:  there aren't free kennels available, no one takes pit-bull mixes, no one answers the phone.

So here I am, turning to TulsaNOW.  Anyone want to take a sweetheart home with them over Memorial Day?  PM me if the answer is yes.

Thanks, Forum.

Thanks for the page views, dog lovers.  Little Miss Understood has been adopted by one of our front desk associates, so she's off the streets and into a loving home as of close of business today.

Happy Memorial Day!
