I went to his 61st and highway 169 location today for lunch. I quite enjoyed one of his thin crust pizzas. It was mushroom and sausage with a couple of kinds of white cheese. The crust was just crispy enough.

Way to go Joe.

Hurry to get downtown.

Sorry, When a restaurant opens at a new location many times they have a "VIP Night" Which they invite friends of the employees as well as the media. When the new Joe Momma's Pizza open's we the forum member's A.K.A. the media should get VIP Ticket's.

The type of pizza I really like is very thin crust, interesting toppings and not necessarily tomato sauce.  Usually wood fired ovens that cook quickly.   Places that I have liked are Pizzabella in Kansas City, Spin in Overland Park and Olivea in Dallas.  Just anything beyond the norms of Mazzios, Dominos or Pizza hut where there is no imagination allowed.  At Pizzabella they had a proscuitto with goat cheese and topped with a nice little arugula salad.  Anything, anything but meatlovers or supremes or whatever.  Maybe a nice southwest pizza with a crust with cornmeal crust, some black beans, roasted corn and peppers and chorizo with quesofresca.  Darn it , now I am hungry. For Pizza.
