Tulsa Symphony Orchestra-Catch Some Z's

This evening of Zs features conductor Gerhardt Zimmerman, who has conducted such world-renowned orchestras as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Cleveland Orchestra and pianist Zuo Zhang, winner of the 2007 Crescendo Music Awards Competition of the Rotary Club of Tulsa.  Ms. Zhang, a native of China, has won competitions world-wide, including the Gina Bachauer International Young Artists Competition.  She will perform Beethoven's Piano Concert No. 1 in C Major, op. 15 with the orchestra.  Maestro Zimmerman will conduct the orchestra in Copland's "Fanfare for the Common Man" and Shostakovich's Symphony No. 10 in E minor, op. 93.  Tickets at $5-$65 go on sale March 3 and are available at the PAC ticket office, 596-7111 or www.myticketoffice.com .
