Double A

How can you be a conservative and run up $37,000 dollars of debt in a primary against an opponent with no money?

OLIVER FOR CONGRESS 321 S BOSTON AVE #200 Type: HOUSE
TULSA, OK 74103 Designation: PRINCIPAL CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE OF A CANDIDATE
Filing Frequency: QUARTERLY FILER
Treasurer: CLAYTON E WOODRUM

III. CASH SUMMARY
Ending Cash On Hand $12,350
Net Contributions $20,715
Net Operating Expenditures $8,365
Debts Owed By $37,100
Debts Owed To $0

Sending a big deficit spender like this to Congress will bankrupt us.

Oliver is from Sapulpa, Oklahoma.  She established a successful business in D.C. and has a background doing political work. She describes herself as a conservative Democrat.

I've still got to hammer down her position on a couple of things but so far she looks like a viable candidate to me.  As you may know, getting rid of Sullivan is on my short list of priorities.

$37,000?  In this day and age that's chicken scratch.  Sounds to me like she is someone with the resources to win.

Clay Woodrum is the treasurer?  Might explain a thing or two.

I was hoping you wouldn't make the connection.

She obviously has not done a background check.

Oh well......Sully it is.

Double A

I wonder if she will stick around if she loses?

I admire his passion, but he's already in over his head.  Not that Sullivan isn't. Why won't the Dems run a quality, home-grown opponent who has actually lived here all their life and not been involved in the beltway? [^]

Yup. Flaky as a snowstorm.  I will still vote for him over u-no-whom.

two lumps of shugh

He's a regular guy.  A Will Rogers candidate. You can hear him explain with earnest passion just what's wrong with Tulsa, as it has been represented by Sullivan, on ePluribus Radio:

He seems like a good guy. I appreciate that you call him a regular guy as well.

Georgianna Oliver has a good story. She grew up in a middle class environment, worked her way through school and became CEO of a high tech company.

Whomever wins the primary on Tuesday, real democrats will rally behind them.

What happened?  Did Sully and some of his thug buddies rat-pack you back in high school?  You really hate the guy.

Democrats are a joke in this state. It's pitiful.

I just switched to independent after the Presidential primary. Sure, I'll vote a goat over Sullivan and Inhofe...but man do the D's not have a chance in hell in this state come November.

Oh god. No thank you.

Is Sheila going to run in a random third party slot this year? She's got my vote if so!

I'm a real Republican have been for the past 38 years.  I could support Oliver, but no way could I support Manley. He's a bigger nut job than Sullivan.
Trust but verify

True Dat.

I'd walk barefoot over broken glass in the snow to knock on doors for Drew Edmondson. I respect the hell out of him.
