Was SemGroup's $7.5 million oral commitment for the naming rights already included in the $30 million in private funds the mayor told the city council was already donated?

Didn't the city council pass an ordinance or something regarding telling lies or untruths to the city council?  What was the punishment for telling such lies or untruths?

That doesn't really constitute a lie if their financial condition changed after making a verbal commitment.  They have enough problems coming down the pike without the city council pursuing minutiae like this.

I don't think SemGroup told any lies or untruths.  I think it is possible that the Mayor did in order to get the financing approved.

Motion to strike the above comment. Witness is purely speculating.

You shouldn't say people are lying when you are just making up stuff yourself.

Motion denied!

Did I say it was a fact?  No.  I said it is possible.  Do you know for a fact that the mayor didn't lie?  If so, please post your factual evidence councilor.  Otherwise, please take your seat.

Court adjourned.

Is it possible that anybody lied about anything? Yes.

File your brief with the court and next time wear boxers instead of briefs.

I asked this question above and didn't get a response (well a relevant response anyway) so I'll ask it again.

I don't know the answer.  If the money was not included, great!  If the money was included, then when can we expect to hear from our elected officials as to where the addition $7.5 million is going to come from?

hey, this could be another reason the drillers decided to go into an extended agreement to work this out.
