+1  I think we'll hear Biden tomorrow.
Vote for the two party system!
-one one Friday and one on Saturday.

On one of the very rare occassions that I listen to KFAQ these days, Pat Campbell was saying Biden this morning.

I dunno, I think he's going to add a sleaze factor to the campaign.  Obama could do a lot better.  I've never trusted Biden since the plagiarism scandal, though I guess it doesn't make him worse than a Kennedy, now does it?  Biden just reminds me too much of a used car salesman turned televangelist.

Biden says he's "not the guy."

Given how Obama is tanking in the polls right now, maybe we should be thinking if Obama will by HRC's VEEP

Yep, if tanking in the polls means winning...wow.

One time Conan......just one time did Biden fail to mention the originator of a single quote. Biden used the quote with attribution many times, but failed once to acknowledge the source.

Give him a break. Joe's a great guy.....and the devil don't mean the Lie-berman.

I was making the point that Obama has lost ground. I guess that went beyond your comprehension. If you want to be a wise donkey, here ya go:

Dear Guido[:D],

Obama is not slipping in the polls[:P]. Let no one question his abilities[:)]. There will be a landslide[}:)]. Time for serious debate if only McCaint can[:(]. But patriotism is not the issue[|)]. Negative advertising by you Republicons will not work nor will your attempts to paint Biden as a liar[:X]. Your candidate is unstable[:O]. So are many of his followers[}:)].

Biden or Citizen Kaine, either makes little difference[:D].

Love,

His Majesty's Satanic Messenger [:I]

Good grief Inteller it's just a freakin poll! These polls do not really mean anything right now anyway, except to show that things appear to be trending to some degree.

You keep trying to cite them like they'll be the numbers played out in 10 weeks.  What is everyone supposed to think.  If you don't believe in 'em so much it tells me your baiting...[:O]

if you flip on the other tab of that poll. it shows obama to have a landslide.

I can predict with 100% certainty that we will elect a loser in November.

Well that it is true, although I honor and respect McCain's military service immensely.

It's election season, is there something wrong with that? [}:)]

Someone explain to me how this equates to foreign policy accumen:

'"When Congress reconvenes, I intend to work with the administration to seek congressional approval for $1 billion in emergency assistance for Georgia," he said.'

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB121919956426355701.html?mod=googlenews_wsj

How do you just arbitrarily decide a country needs exactly $1 bln ???

$1 bln here $1 bln there, a bunch of tax rebates during an election year, spiraling operation costs of gov't.

Eh, what am I biznitching about, not my money, right???

[xx(]

I thought I'd pull an FOTD and cite a Democrat's blog as fact:

http://economicsofcontempt.blogspot.com/2008/08/joe-biden-foreign-policy-heavyweight.html

"I'm not sure Biden's long-time position on Senate Foreign Relations is enough, by itself, to convince voters that he's a true foreign policy heavyweight. The general public doesn't know what committees do, nor do they particularly care. The McCain campaign would definitely push the fact that Biden never served in the military, and would try to frame him as an armchair diplomat who never leaves the Beltway.

To be clear, Biden's reputation as a serious foreign policy expert is absolutely justified, and his 35 years on Senate Foreign Relations is very significant experience. I'm just not sure the Obama campaign can convince voters of this much.

Of the potential running-mates still in consideration, Biden is my first choice for Vice President, but Tim Kaine is my first choice for Vice Presidential nominee (followed closely by Jack Reed). Biden's just too risky on the campaign trail. "
