Have you lost your effing mind? What is wrong with you? You wake up on the wrong side of the river or what?

Perhaps you could illucidate? I simply believe that the high vote was a referendum by republicans on Randi Miller, not an Obama like quickening of support for Bell. When it comes time to choose between a fairly moderate, competent, experienced Democrat who actually worked for a Republican mayor, my bet is Bell doesn't draw any more than the base of the party along with the fanatical demo haters.

Apparently you haven't met some of these anti Dem, anti liberal fanatics who key cars with Obama stickers, yell obscenities on the internet, shoot liberals at Unitarian churches and denigrate democrats in the workplace. Maybe you are one?

I always wake up on the East side of the river though sometimes quite near the banks.[;)]

Inhofe and Sullivan may face the wrath of voters over the obvious failed past decade of their party's leadership in congress and the white house but it won't have anything to do with Bell opening their eyes with promises of transparency, honesty and accountability.

Coat-tails or skirt tails you're dreaming. Dreaming is good. Keeps reality at bay.

It's really quite simple to understand.

Randi Miller's BRAND quit selling new tax increases to the voters.

Same as Susan Savage's brand.

Serial lies and half-truths about Politicians  brand quality eventually causes the voters to dump that brand, and find another.

And, the clever marketers at Snakey, Turncoat and Flake are always ready with a new Brand.

So, the local ruling power Oligarchy has a fresh, shiny, new Brand waiting in the wings, just waiting for the Lorton's World and Channel 862 to sell you a new Brand.

THEIR Brand.

They had the "Reformer" Bill LaFortune, County Commissioner Bob Dick, and TV personality Karen Keith Brands to help sell the Vision 2025 tax.

Now, they have Kathy Taylor and Karen Keith as their new fresh, new Brands to sell other tax increases.

Why?  Because they NEED to FEED their GREED.

Really, it's so simple.

It's all about Marketing and Brand loyalty.

Gaspar should have been replying to you. This is just getting silly. Need, feed, greed, plead, mead, lead, keyed. Isnt' it cute? They rhyme!! Conspiracy, oligarchy, patriarchy, branding...its as if you think the common folk are just slabs of bacon that the rich folk buy over at Petty's and cook up into fresh candidates. 1/4lb Honey Cured Keith....$4.39lb!!
But then the anti-oligarchy candidates, why thats not branding, that's pure patriotic, anti-tax KFAQ approved USDA steak! Cook em up!

Just plain silly.

Actually, I think the local Power Oligarchy controlled candidates like Karen Keith are selling us bologna.  Not steak.

Along with their paid prostituting paladin professional politicians like recently-retired Randi, and soon-to-be retired as Mayor Tax-me-More Taylor.

Wonder if the third and fourth generation local Trust Fund Babies like to listen to the alliteration....?

They NEED to FEED their GREED.

Probably pickles their peckers, or puckers their pudenda.

That is exactly what the haters want you to do, lash out at anyone who you think is suspect.  Like a thousand little krystalnachts [sic] those kind of people want to wear down good people and turn you into them until everyone is the enemy.

You basically walk around thinking that a good percentage of your neighbors are genocidal fascists, according to your post.  Ewwww.

Certainly NOT.

The vast majority of my neighbors are immersed in the multitude of tasks at hand:

Work
School
Children
Eldercare
Hobbies
TV
Sports
Church
Yardwork
Household chores
Vacations

The majority of my neighbors, and the majority of Tulsans are hard-working, decent people that are being exploited so many different ways they haven't got a clear idea of how bad it really is.

For starters, when they go to the grocery store to buy groceries, when they try to buy $100.00 worth of groceries, they leave with only $91.50.

Why?

The rest is sales tax.

A very REGRESSIVE tax.

Meaning, it hurts the poor and middle class hard; and hardly bothers our ruling local Oligarchy.

Most people devote very little time to politics.  The arguing and bickering turn them off.

And, it's meant to turn them off.  Just like some posters like to start hurling invectives and slamming other posters.

It's a strategy.

That's why I can help educate them a little here.  FB has thick hide.

And, while generally avoiding confrontation, bears when provoked enjoy ripping the guts out of their adversary.  Jaws of death......

Many lurkers are learning A LOT about the Banana Republic of Tulsa on this Forum.

A phrase that really says it all about our local political scheme:

The Banana Republic of Tulsa.

And, while we have many Forum lurkers on these topics, we have relatively few regular posters.

The fewer people who want to get involved with the turbulence of their local political scene, the easier it is for a few very wealthy and socially connected individuals to control EVERYTHING political in T-town.

Everything.

They've been in control for at least the past 50 years.

Controlling the message through the Lorton's World mass circulation daily "newspaper".

Controlling the mass electronic media with Channel 862.  And, how about gifted grifter John Erling Frette formerly at KRMG for only 30 years?

They control the promotion and financing of hand-picked, well-financed and well-oiled candidates.

UNCONTROLLING the financing of their treasured G.O. and Revenue bonds and new sales tax initiatives.

NO campaign contribution limits there. Oh NO.

How HANDY!

And, they like things just the way they are.

I think we're all a little confused here. I called Tim, Gaspar. Tim called me something and then held his nose. FB responded to that and Tim called one of us Nazi. FB assure us he isn't Nazi and represents the forsaken proletariat. Is that right?

I think we're up to the third grade right now.

Why don't we pick up the thread again where we left off:

Retired Tulsa County Commissioner Randi "Randy" Miller was just asking Asst. Public Werkes Direktor and Pool Boy Buchert:

"Say, come over here and oil up my back before I get a sunburn....

It's so HARD to reach back there."

Just a little help please."

Ah, just right.  Spread it all over....that's IT.  MORE."

You don't see Gov. Bad Brad Henry making that mistake.  Just true-blue Democrats in his Administration.

I'd have to disagree, he did appoint Kathy Taylor as commerce secretary when she had contributed to Largent previously. Of course, he only did so after she paid a pretty penny to his campaign coffers.

You started it. [;)]  I was facetiously calling FB a Nazi.  At this point I am scared of disagreeing with you much less agitating you. [:D]
