Been at it for at least FOUR decades.

There is currently no real leader of the GOP except a failed President with an Approval rating at lowest levels EVER.

If there were a real, credible leader in the GOP, the party would have quietly retired Sen. Stevens.

Instead, this greedy, grasping old man has the arrogance to run for re-election while under FBI investigation.

So, a solidly GOP state will in all likelihood have a Democrat Senator in November.

FOTD

BOOGA BOOGA!!!!!

Another one bites the dust.

Does this make Inhofe the elder and oldest repuke on cap hill?

Bop til you drop......

As with all your "look at the Republican" posts, I'll point out that there are just as many crook Democrats.

It is also worth pointing out that while the President has the lowest approval ratings in history, so does the Democratic House and Senate.

Losers all around.

And, of course, if found guilty they should hit up upside the head with the book.  I don't care if he's 90.  Public corruption can NOT be tolerated.

And the main reason the Democratic Congress has such low approval ratings is because they've failed to IMPEACH the President who took us to war based on lies, outed a covert CIA agent for political reasons, illegally spied on American citizens and lied about it when caught, created a super secret energy policy that has brought about obscene profits for his oil company buddies, and $4+ gas for Americans, among many other things.

In my 40+ years on this planet, the majority of political scandals have involved REPUBLICANS, not Democrats.

How quickly Republicans forget Watergate and Iran Contra, two of the worst abuses of power in our country's history, diminished only by the current Oval Office occupant.

With stunning Republicans like Inhofe, Coburn, and Sullivan representing Oklahoma, is it any wonder we're at the bottom of the list on health care, roads and bridges, and at the top of the list on teenage pregnancies?

True, but I read a good analysis recently (I don't remember who it was) that congressional approval ratings always closely follow the presidential approval ratings, and that Congress' ratings are nearly always below the president's.

Case in point: When George W. Bush had approval ratings in the low 90s right after 9/11, Congress had ratings in the 80s.

Now, when Bush's ratings are in the 20s, Congress falls into the teens.

These same effects happened with other presidents, too. If you get good leadership at the top, it pulls the Congress up with it. If you don't get good leadership at the top, it pulls down Congress, also. That's just the way it is.

I wonder if Inhofe regrets going to bat for Stevens' 'bridge to nowhere' on KFAQ some years ago.  He sure stuck up for it.

Cannon, did you really have to go tit-for-tat with T-Town?  I guess we need to remind the libtards every now and then that their own brand sucks too. [;)]

I'm thinking FOTD got a chubby over this story last night.

How about NOT padding your listing with the numerous NON-ELECTED private persons who just happen to call themselves Republicans.

Listing Anti-Abortion activists and calling them Republicans is inaccurately running up the GOP body-count.

Many of these hustlers would do business with either party, currying to the one currently in power to dispense favors to the unworthy.

T-Town Now

I don't know of any Democratic Presidents that told over 900 lies in order to start a war that killed over 4,100 of our innocent troops.

It doesn't get any worse than that.

You Republicans have such a problem with a BJ, yet you're willing to overlook the actions of your own superstars, like Newt Gingrich who cheated on his wife while she was suffering with cancer, and John McSame, who also cheated on his first wife.

Hypocrisy must be mandate #1 to be a Republican.

And you guys sure know how to "fix" an economy, don't you? Record deficits, pimping the United States like a street whore to other countries, outsourcing good jobs and replacing them with dead end ones...yeah, good job.

How about the list of lies told by Democrat Presidents which killed many more U.S. troops and innocent Viet Namese civilians?  Care to tabluate those since you seem to enjoy tit-for-tat?
