Grand Opening of the Joe Station Bark Park!

The official opening of the Joe Station Bark Park, Tulsa's first and
currently only dog park will take place Saturday, Aug. 9, at 10 a.m.

The dog park is located at 2279 W. Charles Page Blvd. just west of
Newblock Park. It was named for one of the trolley stops previously
located close to the park along the historic Interurban Line that once
connected Tulsa to Sand Springs.

The dog park is located in a converted baseball field where there are
two dog areas - one for large dogs and one for small dogs. There is
ample parking and the park has lighting for evening romps, water pails
for thirsty hounds and restrooms for handlers. Best of all - admission
is free!

Many volunteers, task force members and community leaders have worked
"paw in paw" to launch this great park which is sure to be the first
of many in Tulsa.
