The only things the Obiden can do is say 'She is sort of like Dan Quayle' and hope they can lure her into stridency.  What an awesome, breathtaking, audacious move by McCain.  Almost enough to vote GOP again!  Also married to an AK native, I can attest that they are indeed a breed apart! We have found our new Reagan!

Wow.  How profound.  No substance, no cognitive thought.  You're a perfect Obama supporter.  Keep up the good work!

When you're ready to act like a big boy we'll all be here waiting for you to contribute something of merit.

cricket....cricket.....cricket....

When YOU, iplaw, contribute something of merit...

And you're the perfect McCain/Palin supporter...
Just like FoxNews...

DOOCY: "But the other thing about her, she does know about international relations because she is right up there in Alaska right next door to Russia."

McCain's choice of VP is a huge FLIP-FLOP for him to satisfy the conservative "base" of the Republican party..... funny, because I've never considered the Rush Limbaugh dittohead crowd as a base for much of anything other than derision.

The Anchorage daily newspaper has compiled all their articles on Palin into one link.

There is lots of interesting information on her.

You need to note that the ADN is like Tulsa's Urban Tulsa.  It's a "flash-rag".   Interesting articles none the less.

Edit:  Noted: It is the largest newspaper in Anchorage.

When attacked by a mob of clowns, always go for the juggler.

You, as a let's-pretend-libertarian... want us to give credit to McCain's Veep for...
views that would criminalize abortion-- even in cases of rape or incest, demonize sex education......

Interesting how McCain has placated the Huckabee constituency...

Obama bin Obama?
How 'bout Mikemoud Huckmadineajad?

Obama's convention bounce is gone:

Again, I know these polls are essentially meaningless. I just enjoy sticking my thumb in these Obama-nuts eye. Incidentally, I see the collective sh*tting in the pants by several Obama-nuts on this forum is continuing.

I'm a little confused here.......

Excuse me Guido... per usual, you make up facts to fit your pompous holier-than-thou arguments....

His choice of Palin is a pander to the religious right...

Why would anybody be scared of this woman as McCain's VP?..... she has nothing in common with the Hillary Clinton vote...

I think in general, you have to be scared of the fact that she'll be just one heartbeat away from the White House.  That's what Obama's camp will be using in the weeks to come.  She scares me for that reason.  How can that NOT be the 'Quayle Factor'?

No moron, the "Quayle factor" is thinking there are 57 states in the U.S. and that having an opinion about when the human rights for a baby was "above his pay grade." As for what is scary, the fact that you believe Obama has the qualifications to be president. No one in this forum has been able to point to a single legislative accomplishment he has made.
Instead, we hear that Obama is qualified because he is able to inspire 80k plus people to watch him deliver a speech at Invesco. This is absolutely hilarious. If that qualifies someone to be president, then let's get Dan from "Dan's Bake Sale" fame to run.

Here is the Red State Update take on Palin. Pretty funny, no matter what your party affiliation is:

I know this is two days old, but I just had to post this given the love affair several in this thread have with uber-qualified Obama:

This is a classic example of "I don't have a response to your arguement so I'm just going to ignore it and respond to you calling me a moron."

Face it Hoss, You lost the argument. Just keep screaming about the kool-aid and maybe no one else will notice.

Why does it have to be an argument?  You neoconovics seem to think that if you scream it loud enough, it makes it true.

It doesn't.  I don't need to argue anything on here, you tightie-righties continue to prove my point by citing such objective news organizations as newsbusters, a proven neo-conservative water carrier.

You all make it sound as if Palin is the second-coming of Christ.  Maybe the second coming of Quayle.
