I can assure you it's not the home run that some are claiming is to be.

I think that search result and screen shot speak louder than anything I could say.

If any of you knew who she was before today, you certainly did a good job keeping it secret.

If any of you knew what her positions are (other than hunting and fishing, of course, which are of course, requisites for a VP), you certainly did a good job of keeping it secret.

and this decision is strike 1 for the McCain campaign.  Strike 2 will be the debates and strike 3, well.  That will be in November.

Absolutely a 'oh sh*t' choice by McCain's campaign.

I can't help but think of this:

JUNIOR: Well people like that reform. Maybe we should get us some.

PAPPY: I'll reform you, you soft-headed    sonofa*****! How we gonna run reform when we're the damn incumbent!

If she's a non-factor then why are you wasting the time to post about her?

As far as people knowing about her, I think some have used stupid arguments like that in the past, namely, "That actor could NEVER be president."

If you think the community organizer who can't speak without a teleprompter is going to pose a problem for a seasoned senator you should pass the ganga...if you're referring to Palin, the fact that you don't know who she is tells us that you have no idea how she's going to perform in a debate.

USRufnex

Wow.  I just heard her first speech.... dontcha know..... she just loves Hillary and Geraldine Ferraro...

I didn't think the republicans could top Dan Quayle... I stand corrected.

iplaw

Yeah.  It kinda reminds me of another party who nominated their own Dan Quayle candidate for president...

All hail the community organizer!

waterboy

Graham, I thought I was the only one who saw a little bit of 'ol Pappy" in McCain's campaign. Good imagery. And the decisionmaking process probably close to correct.

McCain is cynical, shallow and amateurish. But he knows a winner when he sees one. Thus, "change, my friends" replaces the "truth express", and flipping on so many issues he's embraced in the past.

This is desperation time for repubs. The true believers who fear the coming change are rounding up the wagons, calling names, questioning their opponents motives and intelligence and passing on every unfounded smear they can. Not because they support MC, but because they can't support a Dem. Its worked for a couple decades now but its embarrassing.

The questions remain. Are you happy with how your party ran the country the last 8 years? Do you think McCain will be substantially different? Is Palin ready to assume commander in chief responsibilities?

Have you listened to your candidate over the last 18 months?  I've never seen a candidate flop more in one year, other than Admiral Longface.

Probably as qualified as former community organizer with 140 days of senate experience with no concrete examples of legislative accomplishments.

Are you trying to tell us that Lord Barry hasn't been a gold medalist flip floper over the last 18 months?

Oh that's right, he doesn't flip flop he "refines" his positions. [:P]

"Probably" covers a lot of ground. So you'd follow this woman into a fox hole? You think she's good to cover our country's back in global crisis? Get real. She isn't ready to be even considered for the post. Its a political shenanigan designed to distract from a great speech and get him more votes.

Either you're not as good at this as you used to be or you aren't keeping up. McCain is this election's flipper. Try defending your candidate instead of attacking mine. Much harder, because McCain isn't really anyone's candidate. He is simply the survivor.

Wow.  Your post is an impressive list full of nothing.  I feel so much better about him now.  I won't deal with them one by one unless you want, but this is my favorite one:

"Voted against making gang members eligible for the death penalty if they kill someone to help their gang. (2001)"

Just worth posting again.
