How does a plagiarizing, corrupt, six term Senator, who has made questionable foreign policy votes over the years equate to "Real Change" RM?

Please don't try to impress upon any of us that your comments aren't partisan.  You were incredibly hard on Obama, yet somehow he became entirely acceptible when Hillary threw in the towel.

You made some serious accusations about Obama's fitness for President, just exactly how has he satisfied you so quickly?

Did I mention "change"?

Did I say I find Obama "entirely acceptable"?

I am sorry that you feel obliged to attack me and Biden instead of answering the question about the republican woman running for Vice-President.

No, I don't think Obama is ready either. There, are you happy?

McCain is ready to be President. Biden is ready to be President. I don't think Obama and Palin are.

But there is a big difference between Obama and Palin. Obama has worked for eighteen months campaigning all across America, meeting the public, giving major policy speeches, building a team and a website that is ready to work. He also has a special gift...his speaking style. While I don't think he is completely ready, his ability to speak and inspire others makes up a lot of ground.

Palin has done none of these things. Listen to her tonight and tell me if she is a gifted speaker. Don't just react like the trained audience in the room that is going to support every word she says.

I am not surprised at the defense of Palin by the republicans. They know they have to.

Democrats fall in love with their candidate, republicans fall in line with theirs.

So Obama's special gift - his speaking style qualifies him to be President?

Adolph Hitler had a very special style of speaking too.

He enraptured audiences.

Led them right off the cliff into die Katastrophe.

The Catastrophy.

YOU'RE a Nazi!

AM not.

I held my nose and voted for Bush 2x; NOT Buchanan.

No.  I mean all of it.  The abuse of power trial (for which she has now refused to testify), the questionable political affiliations, the connection to the famed Bridge to Nowhere, etc. The family stuff is part of it but certainly not all.

William Ayers and Rev. Wright ring any bells?  And I didn't see you bother to mention that she torpedoed the bridge to nowhere.  That project didn't die on it's own, but I'm sure you just "forgot" to mention that.  The family stuff is not "part" of anything unless you're a scumbag and equally willing to look into your own party's family problems.

You need to do some Googling.  She quit supporting that beast when she took a closer look and saw all the waste and over-runs in it.

It's incredible how people on here take Coburn to task for reeling in waste.  They say he doesn't "bring home the bacon" for Oklahoma.  Yet, Sarah Palin appears to have been a proactive leader who brought Federal money into her city and state (which does not have near the population growth, nor increasing tax pool like other states do) and she's somehow evil?

What a bunch of partisan hacks.

Let's start taking their names.  Then,

After the election, our GeheimesStaatsPolizei can take them to the "Re-education" camps.

One-way trip.

Wink-Wink.

The fact that people think someone who was a sports reporter, became mayor of a town of 8000, and governor of one of the least populated states for less than two years is somehow more experienced than someone who graduated from Columbia, Harvard, was president of the Harvard Law Review, and 12 years in public service is down right baffling.

Bit of an exaggeration there; Didn't Barack the Redeemer spend only EIGHT years in the Illinois State Legislator, and TWO years in the U.S. Sinate.  8 + 2 = 10 years "Publik" Service.

You left out Palin being President of the PTA, and two terms on the City Council.  Meany.

She defeated an incumbent Good-Old Boy's imbedded GOP Governor in the Primary, then defeated a previous Democrat Governor in the General Election.

Obama defeated a GOP STAND-IN Alan Keyes, after GOP Senate Candidate Mr. Ryan couldn't take the public sliming after a California Democrat Judge UNSEALED his steamy He-said/She-said sealed divorce case file.  How HANDY!

In order to slime him.  Mr. Ryan admitted in a deposition that he wanted to SLEEP WITH his wife, Actress Jeri "Juggs" Ryan.

Well, YEAH, dude.  So does every other male over the age of 13 in America.  That's news?

That's how we got Senator Obama the Redeemer, care of the Cook County Democrat Political Machine.

STOP THE MACHINE.

So much experience required to run a country can be learned from running the PTA of a town of 8000.

It called the Building Blocks of Experience:

PTA
City Council
Mayor
Governor
Vice President
President

In that order.

Obama has refused to release any information regarding his grades at Columbia or Harvard.  Being president of the Law Review doesn't automatically say anything about his educational prowess nor leadership skills.

People who have been asked have said his time at Columbia and Harvard were rather unremarkable other than being the first black president of the review.

One of the phrases I've heard used several times to describe this has been "a botched rollout," and I couldn't agree more.  Because the whole point of vetting someone is to keep what is happening right now to Sarah Palin from happening at all. Hence:  either she wasn't vetted properly, or McCain's team is inept. QED.

So anyone running for office must have a perfectly manicured past with a policy history that the opposing party approves of?  You seem to think that because she isn't fit to run as a democrat she's not ready.  This garbage has nothing to do with "vetting" and everything to do with partisan hackjobs.

QED...not even close pal.

No, that's not right.  She doesn't have to have a perfectly manicured past, whether she's running as a Democrat, or a Republican, or an Independent.  But she has to have a past that is explainable, her past has to be able to be doled out in a controlled fashion so as to control the story being told, and McCain's surrogates all have to be on point.  It's all about prepping her for going national.  You'll notice I'm not talking about her fitness as a politician, or as a candidate, or whether she's electable or her experience or anything else you're assuming.  I'm just talking about whether the McCain people did what should've been done.  And they flat didn't.

Obama, btw, actually addressed the Wright debacle directly with a prime time speech, and then publicly disavowed him.  Palin is in lockdown and won't even speak to the media.  So really, I'm not sure what point you're making.

Oh, and it was the McCain people who released news of Bristol's pregnancy to the media over the weekend.  Wasn't a Democratic oppo team, or a liberal blog, or a private investigator or Drudge.  It was John McCain's campaign.

I'm still trying to find out what McCain "didn't" do that gives you concern.  Maybe you could start with actual specifics instead of generalizations so we can discuss them specifically.

Yeah, after he sat in the moron's church for 20 years and weeks after Wright was brought to light.  Wright had to make an donkey of himself at yet another press conference before Obama felt the need to distance himself.

So because they released the information to counter disgusting rumors on scumbag liberal blogs, that made her private life and that of her family fair game?

Sad and pathetic, yet completely typical.

Palin won her Mayor's race by getting 616 people to vote for her.

We get twice that in a recall election in district three council races.

Power is nothing till you use it.

The real question is, who gives a damn?  More people vote for Ralph Nader every election than voted for Biden in the primaries.  Who cares?

It would have been very nice if the "Dow" would have responded with the enthusiasm that has engulfed the GOP...........![;)]
