Recycle Michael tried this during the last Tulsa mayoral election. I remember the experiment failed miserably, but let's try again anyway.

Rules: Say something nice and respectful about the other parties presidential pick, no sarcasm, no devils or bears or cubs unless they can play nice.

I like John McCain because:
He often bucks his party to do what is right
He really is a maverick
He is a war hero, I respect him
He is self effacing and funny
He gives good speach: I really liked "I work for you".
He is more fiscal conservative than social conservative.
His wife Cindy is a humanitarian IMO

Geez, don't hog the list!

I like him because he gets angry publicly.  That's actually refreshing and honest to me.

McCain's speech last night was quite impressive.  I think that he would like to pull his party back towards the center.  My sense is that he wants to be better than his party will let him be.  But there is a pattern with McCain:  He says good things but ultimately votes party line.

The Religious Right vote has won his party several elections but it has become their ball and chain.

You can see in McCain a faint echo of his party's more moderate past.  It's a shame he had to make a compromise with the Devil to get the nomination.

I like Obama because:

1.  He can read a teleprompter as good as Karen Keith.

2.  He has really unusual blue lips.  Is he getting enough oxygen?

3.  He has two knappy-headed, darling kids that like to listen to Gangsta-Rap.

4.  He's got a wife that looks tough and smart.

5.  He is tall.

6.  His wife is tall.

7.  He has an unusual color pleasing to the eye.

8.  He will resurrect the brand value of Marxist-Lenism in the second oldest democracy in the World.  Canada will be next. Wikipedia will be updated accordingly for the last time.

9.  He looks like he may have either a jumbo Johnson or a rolled-up sock in his suitpants.  Bigger is better.  Older white women are scared of him.  They should be.

10.  I like his suits.  They look expensive, and fit very well.  Too bad there's no one in them.  EMPTY.

11.  If he wins, the military budget will be reduced because all the Generals and Admirals will resign, and Obama will then out-source  those high-paying jobs to lower cost labor from his friends in the People's Republic of China.

12.  If he wins, we will avoid the threatened AND predicted wide-spread race riots across the country if he instead actually loses......

Note to self:

I like John McCain b/c he dislikes George Bush.

Also forgot to mention that based solely on each party's nominee's acceptance speech, McCain offered greater outreach to Latinos.  My party largely threw away it's opportunity to do the same.

I don't think McCain is going to peel off Democrat women but I do think he has a good chance to take the Latin vote from us.  As ironic as that would be it might also be pivotal.

Parts of the Latino population seem to value large familias.

McCain has 7 + Palin has 5 = A Dozen. Mucho Ninos.

There were quite a few Hispanic-American speakers on the Podium at the GOP convention, too.

Gave rousing speeches.

Viva Juanito McCain! Viva Governor Palin!

I still can't believe you're allowed to write this crap on this board.

I like Mr. Obama because:

He is ambitious.  I love ambition.
He is well spoken, and gifted at delivery.
He is attractive and engaging.
He is young.

I like Jim Inhofe because he is so mean it's easy to see why there's no intelligent people working in governement. He's helping weed out positive attitudes.....just ask his nephew Freddy Dude.

"But this is the end
This is the end of the innocence
O' beautiful, for spacious skies
But now those skies are threatening
They're beating plowshares into swords
For this tired old man that we elected king"

Reason #13:

I like him because with a name like Barack Hussein Obama, 1.1 billion Muslims will think he's one of them.

Fooled 'em?

Obama has showed a lot of class through out the primaries and the general election.

Should McCain win in November, he'd be missing an opportunity if he does not offer Obama a seat somewhere in the cabinet or admin.

I think it's also cool that there are two people in this race (Obama & Palin) who are from my generation.

Oh yeah, I also like him because I'm convinced he stands for real change. [:o)]
