Mostly recent but I have to mention Nelsons, of course.  Also:
Rick's Cafe American
Elephant Bar (just heard)
Bennigans
Steak and Ale
The Flying Roll
Jimmy's Egg (Will become Jamil's)

What else?

Rick's moved recently.

It's in the old St. Michael's Alley on the back side of Ranch Acres center.

Where do these dead restaurants go to get bailed out?

Good to know on Ricks.  Legends BBQ is also closed.

Steak Stuffers never really attracted me much.  Their larger sandwiches seem kinda high priced for lunch and they aren't open for dinner or on Weekends I don't think.

Which Legends?  The one by Fox 23?  I was just there about three weeks ago and they didn't seem to be hurtin' for customers.

If that's the case, that stinks.  I loved going there for special.

Yeah that one.  Maybe they were just closed for the weekend or something, but I didn't see any tables near the window.

When did Jimmy's Egg close? That places always seemed to do a great business.

Yep, I just called their number and it indicated the number was out of service.

They did great business.  Word around the campfire is they are moving to 41st & Peoria, not sure which corner or if it would be new construction.

Another one is supposed to open on the east side of 41st Peoria. However,I think there is still one around 31st and Garnett.

still doesn't make sense that Jamil's is moving there when Jimmy's is leaving because of the highway[xx(]
