University of Tulsa College of Engineering & Natural Sciences presents a lecture by Neil Shubin, Evolutionary Biologist, Paleontologist and Author of Your Inner Fish: A Journey into the 3.5-Billion-Year History of the Human Body.

Neil Shubin is Provost of Academic Affairs at the Field Museum in Chicago and the Associate Dean of Organismal and Evolutionary Biology and the Robert R. Bensley Professor at the University of Chicago. His scientific adventures have taken him to the most remote corners of the world and have led to groundbreaking discoveries in evolutionary biology. The exuberance, humor and expertise with which he shares his discoveries have captivated biology enthusiasts worldwide. His work has also enjoyed growing exposure in popular culture: he has been named an ABC Person of the Week and appeared as a good-humored guest on the Colbert Report.

The event is free and open to the public.
