To the best of my knowledge, we have never been completely out of Marshall beer.  I know that we took the Sundown Wheat off draught to make room for Oktoberfest beers and subsequently replaced it with Marshall Pilsner, but we've never been completely out.  If you were told we didn't have any of the Marshall beers it was either a very rare day or the bartender was just mistaken.  I had some Marshall - McNellie's Pub Ale this evening, and know that it has been available all the time.
If you're ever in McNellie's and told you can't get a Marshall beer ask for a manager.  Just last Friday I was asked why we were out of Marshall IPA by a customer, and I simply went in the walk-in and plugged in the keg. The employees, much to my chagrin, don't always check these things.  We are committed to supporting Marshall brewery, not just because they're local, but because they make really good beer.  If you ever have a future problem getting the beer, or with anything else at McNellie's, please e-mail me: elliot@mcnellies.com

Sorry for any inconvenience, the beer should always be there unless it's a rotating tap.

Cheers-
Ellio

Elliot, small favor- next year, please don't pull Sundown Wheat off in favor of seasonals.  It's an outstanding beer. [:P]

Great, glad we got that taken care of!  I want to thank you all again for expressing your concerns, so Elliot and I were aware.  I alerted Elliot to the issue after I read about it last night and he was on it immediately! I believe this is a testament to how dedicated he is to his customer base and wanting to make sure everything is in order.  He has been a great supporter of ours since the beginning and we really appreciate his friendship.  Please continue drinking Marshall Beers at his Pub.

Thanks- Eric

I am trying to think of a complaint so that the owner of McNellie's will offer to buy me a pint.

Your Pub's name is too hard to say when I have been drinking...your crowd is too good-looking and I feel self-conscious...your food fills me up...you sell too many types of beer...

I think he should offer to host the next TulsaNow forum lunch.. for free :)

Or at least free sweet potato fries. Joe Momma's has Simpson's pinball, McNellie's is gonna have to step it up a notch.

Name anywhere else you can post a concern about a product and both the store owner and the manufacturer come on the publicly respond to you.

Somehow, I don't think Peter Coors, Norman Brinker, or Augie Busch would chime in on a forum.

It's like we were spoken to by Beer God and Vice Beer God. [}:)]

One more thing... TulsaMINI - so long as Blue Moon is a 3.2 product and not full strength, it will only have limited engagements on draught. Please don't boo us, we're simply trying to provide the best selection we can - Hoegaarden is the beer Blue Moon tries to imitate, send me your e-mail address and I'll buy you a pint, it's an exquisite beer.

BOO!! Can I have one too?

My brother, age 23, is looking for a public office to run for.  His sign will be a beer stein with cold, icy beer dripping from it.  His platform?

For all Oklahoma!Cold.High.Point.Beer.
Broaden Your Horizons, Oklahoma!  So much good beer, in so many other states.  It's time we bring these beers to Oklahoma, Oklahomans!
Not really serious, but it would be fun.

***Recognizing there are many great Oklahoma beers as well.

Not quite icy cold please. Most of the beers (ales) I like are better cool but not icy cold.

The rest is fine by me.

I think he was just proving the point that we all deserve a strong beer as cold as we please, just because we can.  I think the ice was for maximum graphic effect.

*Somehow, I don't think this kind of mission is what my parents had in mind when he took poly-sci in college for, but I can't see dad knockin' it![:)]

He would probably get the Millers/Coors/Bud Light crowd.

does the Sundown Wheat resemble hocker-schorr weiss dark or dunkel weiss?
