After hearing politicians from the left and right and reading a pointless debate article in the Urban Tulsa that kept referring to Oklahoma values but gave no insight to the definition, only using it to make a polarizing point, I still can't find a definitive of what "Oklahoma Values" we all supposedly have.

A google search turned up a few sites that mention Oklahoma values, a funny video about Oklahoma values  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_Q0kcrjMoU  and some comment opinions, but no definitive answer.

So, let me ask the good folks here from both sides; What is your definition of Oklahoma Values?

i think we need a commission lead by the State of Oklahoma to do a thorough investigation into our elected officials and general public to see if they indeed have "Oklahoma Values".

If you do not demonstrate the necessary amount of "Oklahoma Values", then the State shall introduce you to the M.O.V.E. (Mandatory Oklahoma Values Education) program.

The M.O.V.E. camp will be placed in western Beaver County.  If you are not able to demonstrate an adherence to anti-intellectualism after 6 months.

You will then be assigned to the M.O.V.E. camp in western Texas County.  After this 6 months if you do not demonstrate an an unquestioning belief in authority AND an adherence to anti-intellectualism you will be assigned to the camp in western Cimarron County.

If after 12 months in western Cimarron County  you are still not able to demonstrate an adherence to anti-intellectualism, an unquestioning belief in authority and a desire to vote against any initiative or elected official that wants to bring our beloved State out of the 1940s, you shall then be reassigned to New Mexico.

We are Sooners: we like free things.

Our state was "given" to the native american people that were "asked" to make Oklahoma their home. Later it was re-gifted to white folks, all they had to do was line up and perform a foot race to get a piece.

To this day we like our nice streets but only if we don't pay for them. We really like the idea of river developement as long as private enterprise (also fans of gifts) pays for it all.

Oklahoma is the "Land of the Free".

Screw Oklahoma values, let's talk about the "Tulsa Sound".

Those guys are obvious. I guess GAP Band is too. Rocky is such a cool guy and I love watching him play especially with the young ones like Jesse Aycock.
