It is also nice to see that EVERY county in Oklahoma voted for McCain. Our rural and urban areas have similar beliefs, which is not the case in most states.

I thought your head would have imploded after Sen. Obama won last night.

1. No big surprise there. Good news if you like old politics.
2. Same as above.
3. Why?
4. Same as above.
5. You think solidifying their incompetence is good news?
6. Yeah, good news spin. Republicans lost about 6 seats. Maybe more soon.
7. Why is that good news for OK and Owasso?
8. Same as above.
9. Limiting family values to narrowly defined populations is good news? Go tell the kids at Human Services. They'll be ecstatic not to have well educated, prosperous, committed adult relationships included as potential parents.
10. Not yet. Close race. They're trying to figure out how many redneck Okies were shipped in to vote illegally. Not that hard. Apparently they take on the names of sports teams.
11. All forty of the black people living there(the ones not on the NU football team) are crushed. You'd be safer if you lived there, hint, hint.
12. Yeah, I feel better instantly.

The real good news? OBAMA IS PRESIDENT! Choke on it Cubbie.[:D]

I'm just wondering what MSNBC is going to do now .... for the past 8 years they have bashed Bush nonstop, they aren't going to have him much longer.
I guess they will just engage in Obama worship.

Joe Scarborough has been puffing and huffing enough for the rest of the network about what he thinks should and shouldn't happen now that his party is out of office.  He is such a piece of work.  He is acting like his pronouncments are sacred and worth listening to.  So I have pretty much stopped watching MSNBC.  My TV choices are down to the Daily Show now.
It's hard being a Diamond in a rhinestone world.

I like watching the Fox talking heads stumble over themselves now.

I mean it's not like you couldn't rename that network the "Republican Talking Points Propaganda Channel".

Agreed. The Daily Show is the best political news program on television.

1. Inhofe gets another six years to do nothing.
2. Lead, follow, or get out of the way.  OK GOP US House members are gutless wonders who are more concerned with re-election than anything.
3. Sooners will continue to be looted and pillaged by big Corporations.  Hurrah.
4. OK Senate will have learned NOTHING from their US counterparts, and talk talk talk but get no reforms accomplished.
5. OK House will stick head in sand, get sidetracked by non-ssues and get swept from office in oh say two years.
6. Good.  Maybe they will learn from their loss and get back in touch with Sooner values.
7. Arizonans affirm that - as long as a couple are heterosexual - they can lie before G-d and Man alike and say 'til death do us part' and get married and remarried as many times as they like.
8. Florida - one of the top states for divorces - undermines the institution of marriage.
9. Arkansans believes that the State does a better job raising children than individuals.
10. On this one I must say that Californians repudiated judicial activism.
11. Nebraskans commit millions of dollars to court fights over a non-issue.
12. Libertarian, knee-jerk anti-gubmint idiots b-slapped back to their weird little world.
