OU is down 1 place, behind Texas, in the AP (how is that possible after winning AT #11 OSU and Texas winning at home over lowly A&M) and up to #2 in USA Coach's Poll. BCS to come out later this afternoon.
Someone get Hoss a pacifier.

I am anxious, guido. The poll gets released between 3pm and 3:30pm on the Fox channel.

I hope OU gets the number 2 spot and get to play for the conference championship.

If they don't, I will cheer against Texas and hope that Missouri wins and OU gets to play for the national championship.

The waiting is over. OU is #2 in the BCS--ahead of Texas. It's OU vs. Mizzou for the Big 12 title. [:D]

Latest BCS has Alabam at 1, OU at 2, Texas at 3 by a slim margin. My feeling is that any of the three teams tied for first would feel slighted with the final decision. Tech beats Texas head to head, Texas beats OU head to head and OU beats Tech severely. Any choice would have put one team ahead of another that was beaten by them. That was the difference IMO. OU beat Tech, OSU, and Kansas by wider margins and with more finesse than Texas did. In fact they averaged final scores of over 60pts each game indicating a strong season ending team. That saved USC a top slot more than once in the past.

Unfair system. Needs a playoff. But it can wait till we beat Missouri and take on Florida!

No. We have four season tickets to TU football.

Games in Norman are hard to go to, especially with kids soccer games on Saturdays.

I just hope the OSU Buckeyes get the lowest rating and they lose their bowl game. The Buckeyes are way over-rated IMO. I guess Jim Tressel is one of the highest paid coachs to make matters worse. What a joke. I just like to watch the look on Jim Tressels face when the Buckeye's lose a game -that's a Kodak moment. Anyhoo, I'd like to see the BCS changed. I don't like it.[xx(][B)][xx(]

Front page of the Tulsa World yesterday--top headline--was the Sooner's winning the Big 12 South.

Then the article--on the front page--stated that the upcoming Big 12 championship game was on Sunday!! Wow! Seriously poor editing there!

Twice in the sports section the correct day (Saturday) is mentioned for the upcoming game with Missouri.

Go Sooners!
