As an OU alumni and sports fan, I am excited about the possibilities of winning another National Championship in football. However, with the success of our team this year, specifically, the offense, I can't imagine what our fans are going to expect in the future. We have some of the most loyal, yet spoiled and unrealistic fans in college football. I'm afraid in years to come if we are not hanging 50 or 60 points on everyone, a lot of our fans will be *****ing and crying. I hope our fans can be a little bit more objectionable and understand what they have seen this year is something that happens maybe once in a lifetime. Enjoy it while it was here. It won't be this way forever.

Unfortunately that was the same sentiment the last several BCS games.  Unfortunately they did not end well.  Don't worry about exceedingly high expectations next year until you meet this years expectations.

I'm going to be concerned with beating a good Florida team before I start worrying about high expectations for the years to come.  I just want to win by one on Jan. 8th.  I don't care if we only score 10 pts as long they score less I'll be satisfied.

And I understand and agree that this year post-Texas has been exceptional from offensive standpoint.  I do, however, expect to have much better times watching OU special teams in the years to come.
