Hello?! It's the overall long-term temperature trend that's important! It's not what's going on THIS WEEK! (Shakes head.)

The real crapper is people are ignoring the acidification of the oceans, which is happening because of more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. When you start messing the the pH level of massive bodies of water such as the oceans, weird and bad things are going to happen.

AND~ The global warming loons come out of the woodwork every time it's 90 degrees in July and they scream the sky is falling, and they say things like "we must act now before it's too late the planet is overheating". When it's real cold in winter they vanish away. Al Gore has been very quiet lately. Al Gore depends on pushing this global warming hoax so he can sell his carbon credits, no global warming = no carbon credits and his business tanks. BTW I thought from what they said that global warming will be felt more in winter, than in summertime with milder and warmer winters and less snow or so they always said before. But they flip flop everytime the weather does not match the global warming models. That guy from NASA (Hansen) was caught doctoring temp. records to make it look like 2007 was the hottest year ever. He used October temps for November temp readings, he got caught and said it was a honest mistake. If global warming was real there would be no need to doctor stuff.
