Since none of the "sticky" posts at the top of the Development forum have had a post since Thanksgiving, what would the Admins think about unsticking them? That would let the fresh topics move to the top of the forum.

I would think for expired/cancelled projects yeah, but I remember those were put there because people were posting new threads everytime a project update came out.

Could we add a ballpark sticky?

Though to be honest, we may be past it's conversational prime.

A ballpark one might be nice. I am gonna try to start taking monthly progress pics.

I was originally in favor of more stickies.  Now, I'm with Average Joe: if we're not posting on them for months at a time...they're just in the way.

Is there any way for our forum software to allow us to "bookmark" topics/threads of ongoing interest? (Or, is there a way to create an index of significant topics that would link to the thread, but not take up all the space of "stickies?"

cannon_fodder

Heh, I always use the "active topics" button and don't ever see the stickies unless they are active OR I want to track them down to post in them.
