They are super nice too.

Lulu's Sweet Shoppe - 81st & Sheridan.
Cookies, pastries, etc. Wi-fi, conference room, kid section.  Great atmosphere too.
Plus she makes a daily dinner special.
Turkey meatloaf is excellent!

You're Invited - 81st & Sheridan.
Specialty is custom invitations.
Great selection and cute gifts too.

steak stuffers hasn't moved yet.  I believe they said by the end of March they should be ready to move in.

Also, Bill and Ruth's on Sheridan between Pine and Admiral.

Hero's at Pine and Mingo.  Great food, always fresh.  One of the best hamburgers in town

G Oscar Bicycles on Main.

The owners live above the shop.  You can't get any more "on premises" than that!

You can pretty much count on the owner being around at any local restaurant or bar.  Probably one of the more endearing characters who likes to keep tabs on his customers is Mike Samara at the Celebrity Club.

Others who are really involved:

Polo Grill
Mr. Luckys
Columbia Liquors
Just about any antique/junk shop on 15th st.
The confectionaire at 25th & Harvard on the east side of the road (very nice, cute couple)
McNellies
Arnies
Marshall Brewing Co.
Bros. Houligan
The barbershop at Crystal City
Jim's Never On Sunday

etc. ad nauseum

There's one more reason I love living off 15th St.  The majority of businesses in the area are locally-owned and operated by the owner or family.
