Last time I checked hate speech laws violate the constitution. This is not Europe or Canada(or some other place that does not value free speech) where you can go to jail or face fines to talking smile about groups of people. I think the teacher in question should be reprimanded,suspended for a few days or fired because schools should not be trying to indoctrinate children by ridiculing the beliefs of others by calling it"religious, superstitious nonsense", however he should not face jail,fines or anything else like that.
