I always dig Letterman, but moreso when he was on NBC; some of those segments he had in those years were true comedy classics.

Hey Guido,

Remember Rush's crack on his TV show about the then 13 year old Chelsea being the new "dog in the white house"?

Chelsea a dog, a grown man knocking up a 14 year old--same thing. Sorry I brought it up. I will remember your moral equivalency, though, Swake.

As for Limbaugh, he was excoriated for making that comment. Fair is fair?

I certainly am not defending Letterman, just pointing out that boorishness happens with people of all political leanings.

Ha ha ha! Somewhere some ahole is screaming 'Nooooooo! Nooooooo!'

Excoriated? By whom? And even if the best the womyn-hating liberals can say in defense of the truly hateful and vile extreme comments directed at neocon womyn in their sicko 'conservatives do it too' defense is from nearly 20 years ago...

This really is fascism. Not godwinning the issue but when neocon babes are called sluts on lettermans show, their children are objectified as sex objects, their rape is joked about in the womyn-empowering pages of playboy... Well this is bad. The message is if womyn who are not baby-killing lumberjacks are female uncle toms, gender-betrayers, stupid fundamentalists who stupidly obey their husbands like slaves. Vile classless letterman!

So it's ok for Rush to target Chelsea Clinton, but not for Letterman to go for Palin's daughter? A little double-standards at play here?

Well of course, we are talking about right-wingers, are we not?

Another empty post, Co Co

Here's class versus a$$....

BUT CHECK THIS OUT! Did Palin OVERREACT to Letterman? Margret Carlson hits the nail into Palins head.

And this makes one wonder how anybody can take Palin seriously. Her antics are so obvious. She looks like the dude bag she really is now.

Have at it Family Feud fundies....

Palin was on this morning and Prejean was on another news program...there was about 20 minutes of muted silence in my house.

I thought maybe NPR would be worth listening to...then it was a story about the new movie coming out "Food, Inc.".  Supposed to be a great movie about where our food comes from and how it's making us sick (chicken farms and slaughter houses)...I was making eggs and sausage.

Not my morning for keeping up with current events.

I'd like Letterman and Trump to apologize for lengthening their 15 minutes.

Yeah Letterman, it's not as if Palin is still the governor of the largest state and just drew 20,000 people to see her in New York or something.

What do you mean, so what? You made it out that her 15 minutes of fame were somehow "up", yet she is still a national figure. If you think back 8 months ago, you will recall that she got 50 MILLION plus people to vote for her.   Why are you so threatened by Palin and Prejean? Do they scare you? Awww.

Yep, but as some figger it, McCain would have WON had she not been on the ticket.  She was, and remains, a liability for the GOP.
