I enjoyed the author's inherent distrust of GPS.
No imagination is required to think up a whole laundry list of evil that could be done with a nationwide GPS grid of coordinate's markers painted on every private home across the country.

You know for someone posting on the internet, he doesn't spend much time using it. Shh.. no-one tell him about google maps, zillow, bing, or.. well... any other site on the internet.

How it ties into swine flu I'm not sure of either.

Yeah, I have a giant government mark on my roof.  I just checked.  They are called shingles.  Thats how they can tell its a house.  Only people with sod roofs are safe.

The census is being done with PDA's that geotag every entry. Helps validate addresses, makes followup easier, and helps those with no real physical address.

Geotagging as it's called is very common practice these days. Here are some photos I've taken when looked at by location view:

Census, what a wonderful political football.

Used to be necessary to count people, back before linked databases.

Now it is just a government sponsored market research program and the most expensive market research in existence.

It costs between $16 to $25 to count each person.

There's really nothing else I can say.

You forgot constitutionally required.

It's become a national politics news aggregator, with FOTD and Guido cluttering up the site with links and copy-paste articles of national news stories. Personally, I think the TulsaNow forum is worse off with the National & International Politics section.

lol.  You stuck you head in the International Politics section and were mad because it was obnoxious.  That's like golfing and being mad that the grass isn't mowed short in the rough.

If you are sane, you'll avoid this area.

Probably something like 90% of news on radio, tv, and the web is all about national and international affairs.  Sane to avoid the topic? Madness to ignore it!  However, I think for TN it is more of a good move than un-good move to make this less prominent on this site.  Let us focus on local corruption and manipulation and destroying the GOB network right here in T-town.

Nathanm wants to defend the census' cost here and complain about the cost of VOLUNTARY services like texting elsewhere:  LOL is right!

IMHO the census and the GPS is not going to be used to specifically target individuals for elimination by death-squad robots or youth brigades.  Not saying our corrupt, tyrannical, and overbearing government could NOT use it, just not yet.

And those of you who want to scapegoat G-dawg or FOTD or myself need to get a clue.  Check out the deception and shadow boxing and outright filthy tactics taken against people who present any kind of challenge to the 'insiders.'

CK all I can say is resist the devil and HE will flee - YOU do not run from him.  Come back more often and do not let the bullies shout you down.  Get your friends to join and back you up. The troof is always worth fighting for, and so are your opinions.
