There is already a blue moon painted on the front window of old Lava space.

Yes. Deals done...

I haven't been to the Blue Moon since Mike died.  I loved their Potato Leek Soup.

Mike was my roommate in college and a dear friend.

Trust but verify

You should break down and go. Mike was a good, gentle soul and he would be happy to see his European bakery concept has succeeded. Its not the same of course, but nothing ever is.

Tony Henry owns the building? HUH? Tulsa World, the demon thinks you may be wrong. Henry has the "master" lease.
Me thinks.

Phil and Miranda will do a good job. And they will not be a huge draw late night. T. Henry certainly was looking for the right mix.

But so many eateries crossing over into similar product. Hope they are thinking "healthy"....

I'm glad the old Delta Cafe space will be divided into several different establishments.  Hopefully that will add to the variety of the area.

Ya sure Blue Moon is not going into Kokao's  old space.......

The Kokoa space will be occupied by a similar business this November: Kupcakz, which will have, you guessed it, cupcakes and also pastries and coffee/espresso.  This will be third location in Tulsa, the others are at 71st & Mingo and there is a kiosk in Woodland Hills Mall.  The owner also plans to open a cupcake/coffee kiosk at the BOK Center.

I think a bakery would do well in downtown, especially if they contracted to provide bread and desserts to local restaurants and hotels.

I drove past last night and the Blue Moon was open and full of people.  There were lots of people all over Center 1 last night.   And the Kupcakez place is called Caramel according to the signage.   I am glad the storefronts are not sitting there empty.
It's hard being a Diamond in a rhinestone world.

They have Marshalls on tap to go with their fine fare.

Place is hopping.
