Hard Rock? Really?

I just wanted to vent about the new "Hard Rock" hotel,
well first, there will be no cafe, which is the foundation of the hard rock,
but instead, they are going to open a Toby Keiths inside.
Now what respectable "Hard Rock" would allow this, over their own Hard Rock Cafe?

well, Cherokee will continue to own and manage the hard rock, so is it a hard rock at all? or just a sign?
looks to me like its just a big sign and a way to sale t-shirts and crap.

and plus, dont they have a country music section? come on.

It's branding meant to increase business.

It's working.

Townsend nailed it.  The McGill's is simply a licensing arrangement.  People pimping out their good name for a piece of the action.

I don't get hard rock. Aren't all rocks hard?
Power is nothing till you use it.

Im not sure if you know this but the Hard Rock Hotel/cafe/casino brand <except the one in Vegas> etc is owned by the Seminole Indian Tribe and the Cherokee tribe has licensed the Hard Rock theme for the new Hotel/Casino.  Cherokee already had a deal in place with Toby Keith when they were building the Hotel under the Cherokee name before they did the deal with Hard Rock so that is why there will be a Toby Keith Grill and no Hard Rock Cafe.

It's been over a year since I worked out there, and still refuse to return to that pit of corruption.  It pains me to see that now that we finally have a Hard Rock here it is on the side of that place.  I'm surprised to see that is says Hard Rock Tulsa, and not Hard Rock Catoosa (though most people would wonder where in the heck that was).  However, all of this personal spite aside, the original plan called for the Toby Keiths to be located in a seperate building on property.  Unless Keith changed his standing on this (and I doubt that he did), it will most likely still be build this way.  This is a part of the reason why Cherokee bought out so many businesses there, like the motel, the gas stations, and the diner that used to be there that I can't for the life of me think of the name of it now.

Tell me when they get table games without crappy anti, then I'll care.  Otherwise my money can be better spent in other towns.   Why is it fine to have bingo, a lottery, poker, and slot machines but legit black jack and craps is spawned by the devil?
