Reappoint Dr. Tyree Seals to EMSA Board?

Tuesday's 8/18/09, Urban & Economic Development Committee meeting has Item #5 indicating the reappointment of Dr. Tyree Seals, Medical Director of the Jail, to EMSA's Board of Directors.

I don't know this man, his qualifications or connections, but should anyone who misses over 1/3rd of the Board meetings during his immediately passing term be reappointed to such a position?

Maybe it's time for someone who can actually be there.
