My tires are getting close to needing replacement.  I got a quote from Hibdon for $595 to buy 4 new tires and install them.  If I buy them on Tirerack.com and have Hibdon install them it costs $478.

I used to buy used tires from a place on Peoria near downtown but they went out of business.  I could pay $150 for 4 good tires with 3/4ths of their tread left and they would mount and balance them for free.  They even provided a free warranty.

Does anyone know of any good used tire places in the Tulsa area?

Thanks.

I thought I would post the outcome of my tire search in case it helps someone that searches the forum for similar advice.  I found some used tires that were around $300 installed.  They were a very cheap brand name.  I decided that I had to go with new tires that are a good brand.  By the way, my wheels are custom and I have low profile tires so they tend to be expensive.  I had Falken wheels and tires and my old tires lasted almost 50,000 miles.  I went to http://www.discounttiredirect.com and got them to match a lower price online for the same Falken tires and give me free shipping.  I got all four tires from them for only $360.  I was going to go to Hibdon to have the tires installed but they wanted $20 a tire.  I called around and the Goodyear on main street in Broken Arrow installed them for $10 a tire.  So the whole thing cost me $400 and I saved $195 from my original quote from Hibdon.  :)

I had to go find a cheap spare tire, like wheel and everything a few months ago.  Dino's tire really hooked me up. http://www.dinostire.com/
