There are metal buyers on Lewis Ave between Admiral and Apache. The price for aluminum is pretty low right now.

Surely they are worth more as hubcaps than scrap.

Uh, they aren't hubcaps... lol.  Or are you saying Hubcap King takes regular wheels as well?

They've been for sale forever on CL, Green Country Motorsports, OKSC, Bimmerfest, Bimmerforums, etc.

I just want them out of my garage at this point.

And no, one of them is bent :(

Full run down, moAr pics.

eBay then.  My favorite way to recycle.

eBay if they are straight.

I checked here already. They aren't moving for enough to make it worth the hassle.

I hate to say but I'd guess a junk yard or scrap dealer would be the way to go. Perhaps some pawn shop would take them. I wish you the best. :-\

I thought I'd necropsy this thread since I finally cleaned out my garage.

I took those 4 wheels and a small bundle of copper pipe to Advanced Metal Recycling @ 2300 N. Lewis (By highway 75) .  Here's an out of date google street view link: Linky

Anyway, I was impressed w/ the facility.  I was able to snag ~$60 for the wheels but surprisingly that little chunk of copper I had snagged me another $40.  Not bad getting $100 for stuff I would have probably just thrown in the dump.  Makes me want to scour my dad's shop for extra junk metal.

Oh and as an added bonus I now know that my Subaru weights 3,480lbs with me and a full tank of gas in it.. lol

Copper isn't cheap.  I just got back from Lowe's and a run of about 20 feet of Romex that cost me $19 about a year and a half ago now costs on the order of $34.  Sheesh!

They do have a nice facility. This business segment is usually kinda "Sanford and Son" and everything is dirty and ugly. Not these guys.

I was there for their opening a few years ago and go back every half year or so. The place still looks new and clean.
