I bet we get Haiti back up and running faster than we did New Orleans or the Mississippi gulf coast after Hurricane Katrina.

How much, sucker.

No way. As bad as Katrina was, the earthquake's damage is absolutely total, partly because of the shoddy construction of the buildings.

And Haiti is poorer than the worst part of New Orleans ever was. It's gonna be ugly and desperate there for a long time.

Our Oklahoma City office called and said they had a Earthquake this morning. It rattled our building and they said it sounded like a Semi going by in front of the store. Tiles and floor shaking.
The news broke in on the local programming.

Don't kid yourselves. This could be a rockin' decade and not with regard to music. Tulsa experienced an earthquake in the 60's and it broke windows out of several tall buildings in downtown.

It would be hard to go down there and report the news without giving those poor people the shirt off your back.
